About your role:
Support on research and analysis for a project on enabling a โjust transitionโ to electric vehicles in India. How you day will unfold: โข Conduct primary and secondary research on the ongoing transition from internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEV) to electric vehicles (EV) in the Indian automotive sector
โข Coordinate with industry stakeholders, govt agencies, experts, civil society on qualitative data collection and stakeholder consultations.
โข Support the team in collation, transcription, cleaning and coding of data
โข Carry out detailed literature review on global and India perspectives on โJust Transitionโ
โข Support the team in qualitative thematic analysis
โข Support the team in communicating research findings in diverse formats (report, papers, blogs, policy briefs and issue briefs, presentations) suitable for stakeholders in government, private and non-government sectors, with a focus on influencing policy and practice.
โข Support the team for related events and capacity building activitiesQualifications and Requirements we seek:
โข Education: Completed or pursuing a post graduate degree in public policy, climate policy, urban or transport planning, environmental studies or related fields
โข Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis is a requirement.
โข Proficiency in Microsoft Office โ Word, Excel and Powerpoint is a requirement
โข Proficiency in GIS would be an added advantage
โข Good working knowledge of electric vehicle segment, automotive sector and energy transition
โข General awareness of environment and climate domain โ key issues, events and updates
โข Excellent/ Strong research, interpersonal/ written/ communication skills
โข Demonstrated ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
โข Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
โข Ability to work calmly and enthusiastically under high pressure
โข Ability to think creativelyStipend: 25,000 Per Month
Location: Delhi/Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore
