CARE is seeking an Analysis and Operations Support Coordinator, who will support the CARE Security Unit (CSU) in ensuring the efficient running and high-quality delivery of global security functions, including analysis and communications, travel risk management, and operational security. This role is responsible for team administration and coordination, knowledge management, and expanding the scope of global analysis and communications content.

She/he will work closely with the Manager of Security Analysis and Communications (SACM) to research, manage resources, and support projects that reduce risks across CARE, will work directly with the operational security team to help shape the future of security risk management in the humanitarian sector.

Responsibilities:

Analysis and internal communications: oversee information-gathering and research, particularly on new/emerging security and access trends, conflict analysis, sector-specific topics; support the production of the CSU's information and analysis products; develop new communications initiatives. Administration support and team coordination: scheduling of team calls, including agenda coordination and acting as secretariat (including for Corporate Crisis Management calls as directed); oversee the development and maintenance of team's Sharepoint, CSU Standards Library, and internal filing systems. Travel risk management: regularly deputize for the Travel Risk Coordinator supporting CARE USA's Travel Request system. Ad-hoc tasking: at various points, the Analysis and Operations Support Coordinator will be asked by members of the CSU to support projects that fall within the skill set of the post holder. This may include workshop or team meeting coordination, the development of policies or procedures in line with CSU objectives, or internal and external representation initiatives.

Qualifications:

Degree educated in a relevant subject (such as international relations, international affairs, conflict studies, security risk or crisis management)
2-3 years professional experience (or equivalent combination of education and work experience) Ability to research, analyze, and write in a clear and organized manner Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office 365 products including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint Experience with administration and general office duties High multi-tasking skills and ability to work under remote management
