Job Overview:
The purpose of a WASH Technical Officer position is to contribute with specific technical competences to project implementation. This position will normally not entail management responsibility for staff, but under certain circumstances the job may entail management responsibility for a very limited number of staff at assistant level. These circumstances can either be related to time-bound support or permanent but in scope limited administrative support.
If supervision of technical or a wider range of staff is needed, the position of Team Leader is to be used.

Minimum of University degree in civil engineering faculty. At least 4 yearsโ working experience in community-based projects.ย Experience with Shelter/WASH national and international standards Previous work experience with satisfactory performance in the same or similar functional area preferably with UN or INGOs Excellent communication skills Computer literacy Fluency in English and local language Dari/Pashtu Able to express your ideas clearly and confidently in speech Able to act on initiative, identify opportunities & proactive in putting forward ideas & solutionsBehavioural Competencies:
