The Statistics Department (STA) of the IMF, and the IMFโ€™s Regional Technical Assistance Center for Southern Africa (AFS), have an opening for a Real Sector Statistics Advisor (RSSA) based in Ebene, Mauritius. The RSSA will oversee and undertake capacity development support in real sector statistics in thirteen countries covered by AFS: Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The RSSAโ€™s initial appointment would be for a period of one year with the possibility for extension up to three years, contingent on performance, ongoing budget/business need and management approval.
