In this Full-Time max term position (through to June 2026) based in our Kununurra office, youโll support a local team to accomplish ambitious goals for our children, youth and families. Your areas of responsibility will include overseeing the alignment of the Communities for Children program to partner meaningfully with local Aboriginal Controlled Organisations, and youโll report to the Regional Manager.

Leading and developing a dedicated, values driven team Supporting the implementation and monitoring of the Communities for Children program, as well as the transition to partnering with Aboriginal controlled organisations Building relationships with partner community organisationsA place to feel valued:
Youโre a highly flexible people leader who is calm under pressure and driven by the impact that quality programming can have for children, families and youth, particularly in a regional and remote community setting. You have a genuine passion to support and manage a high-performing team to meet and exceed objectives and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people. Most importantly, you have a strong sense of empathy and an infectious enthusiasm for your job.

Proven leadership skills and the ability to nurture a cohesive team Ability to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate activities Experience in case management and working with young people Ability to manage competing priorities and complex scenarios Current valid driverโs licence Relevant degree qualifications in youth work, social work, social science, education, psychology (highly desirable)
