NRCย Iraq is looking for a Shelter and Settlements Programme Development Manager to join theย mission. The role holder will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing the Shelter and Settlements programme in the country office.

What You Will Do
Develop CC strategy, technical SOPs / guidelines and Macro LFAs. Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, CC tools, handbooks and guidelines. Responsible of development and manage funding proposal, project budgets and donor reports. Overall management of project staff. Coordinate and manage CC (2) project implementation (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements.ย ย ย ย ย Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer key skills, Liaison and collaborate with relevant local and national authorities and stakeholders and represent NRC in relevant forums/cluster/working groups.ย Promote the rights of IDPs/returnees and refugees in line with the advocacy strategy.Please download the detailed job descriptionย to learn more about the position.ย
What You Will Bring
Minimum 5 years of experience from a senior level project implementation position in a humanitarian/recovery context. An advanced degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts. Technical CC Shelter and Settlement expertise.ย Proven experience in project design, proposal development, and budget management. Strong understanding of humanitarian principles, standards, and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Fluency in Arabic and Kurdish (both written and spoken) Experience with start-up, exit or similar.What We Offer
ย Dohuk, Iraqย duty station. 6 months (Renewable, depending on funding, performance and need for the position). 50%ย travel, to field locations. Seniorย Gradeย 9ย in NRCโs Salary Scale.
