The TeamThe Program Advocacy and Communications team works in partnership with program teams and other teams in Global Policy and Advocacy (GPA) to achieve their policy and finance goals by:

โ€ข Developing and coordinating the execution of advocacy and communications strategies.
โ€ข Using leadership and foundation voice to implement communications and advocacy strategies.
โ€ข Developing and managing a grant portfolio dedicated to achieving communications and advocacy outcomes.
โ€ข Directly advocating with sector leaders, influencers, media and government officials in order to achieve communications and advocacy outcomes.
โ€ข Leading issue-specific communications in service of communications and advocacy goals.
โ€ข Developing policy recommendations or proposals in partnership with programmatic and regional offices.

Your Role

The Senior Program Officer (SPO) for Women and childrenโ€™s health Advocacy Communications will lead the foundationโ€™s communications for family planning (FP), maternal, newborn, child health (MNCH), and womenโ€™s health innovations (WHI), Primary Health Care (PHC) managing strategic communications on a diverse range of areas. You will work as part of Health Communications team that includes HIV, TB, Malaria, NTDs, Global Health Innovation, Polio and Immunization and with a broader communications team focused on Gender Equity, Digital Public Infrastructure, Climate, Agriculture and Nutrition.
