    BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF ASSIGNMENT

    The WFP is seeking a highly skilled candidate for the role of Senior Finance Associate. This position will be under overall and direct supervision of the Head of Support Services Unit and based in WFPโ€™s Country Office (CO) as part of WFPโ€™s Finance team while serving all other units. The role centers around coordinating and providing accounting and financial support involving the recording and interpretation of financial information, support to internal control, management of payables & receivables and data analysis to contribute to the transparent, efficient and accountable utilization of financial resources. The role also involves providing guidance to a team member.
