Position Overview
The Senior Accountant, Revenue performs a vital role within the finance the team, maintaining billing records and ensuring that the appropriate revenue recognition methodology is utilized and adhered to.
This position is based in Washington, DC (hybrid schedule).
Essential Functions
Selection Criteria
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Familiarity with Project Accounting and Revenue Recognition.5+ years of progressive experience.3+ years processing and/or validating project type, e.g., Time & Material (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and Cost Plus (CP) invoices. Strong project management and analytical skills.Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Must have ability to organize, prioritize and have time management skills.
