    About Security Information Analyst at WFP

    This position is based in Kinshasa, DRC. Job holders report to the most senior Security Officer. Job holders at this grade level demonstrate full understanding of strategic context and security analysis approaches identifying potential threats and their likelihood and potential impact on the organization. Job holders are fully conversant with the subject matter, have capacity to adapt to different security analysis approaches and methodologies, and interpret complex information providing well-based analytical judgements, anticipating threats and preparing indicators on security threats as planning tools for security management. They work with minimal supervision substantially contributing to the delivery of security information analysis ensuring accuracy and reliability of the final products demonstrating substantive depth of analysis and ability to inform decision-making. The high-quality work performed directly affects overall reputation of the team.

    THE ROLE

    To independently analyse and contextualize complex security information that identifies potential impact on WFP personnel, assets and operations, formulating well-based judgements enabling WFPโ€™s security to acquire, process and effectively communicate security threat information supporting decision-making and ensuring operational success.
