Job Overview:
The purpose of the Security Assistant is to support the Security Officer /Coordinator to implement the security functions at country office and support the program on security related issues.

Generic Responsibilities:
Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines. Assist with the implementation of the support function portfolio according to plan of action. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management. Ensure proper filing of documents. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function. Monitor and assess the security situation. Prepare the daily and weekly reports to the HSS Manager based on the TweetDeck or other sources Inform and make recommendations to SA and other staff about travel authorisation considerations. Conduct area, site, and program risk assessments and produce the relevant report to NRC standards. Be prepared to conduct weekly security briefings. Be prepared to have a security induction brief with new staff and visitors. Be prepared to participate or represent NRC in internal and external meetings. Produce weekly reports, incident reports and special reports on demand and according to the security management plan.Specific Responsibilities:
Generic Professional Competencies:
University degree in management is required. 2-3 yearsโ experience from working as security assistant, security manager or similar. Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts. MS office (word, excel and power point). Fluency in English and local language, both written and verbal.
