About this position

We are looking for a dynamic, team player, and innovative Resource Planning & Administration (RPA) Specialist/Senior Associate who will oversee all human resources, budget, and administration matters in the Human Resources Department (HRD).

You will work in the HRD Front Office Team, reporting to the HRD General Manager and working in collaboration with other members of the department.

What youโ€™ll do:

Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the Departmentโ€™s annual administrative budget, ensuring the optimization and prioritization of financial resources. Review and authorize statements of expenses and invoices, approve P-card expenses, authorize contractual payments, and keep appropriate records in accordance with the Bankโ€™s policies. Develop and supervise the implementation of Service-Level Agreements within the IDB Group and propose corrective actions, as needed. Together with the HR Business Partner and HR Senior Advisor, develop and supervise workforce planning initiatives for the Department based on approved budgets and headcount, responding to staffing business needs. Coordinate and supervise the recruiting, hiring, and on/off-boarding of the HRD workforce (staff, full-time consultants, and external consultants). Lead all aspects of the hiring of HR consulting firms, ensuring compliance with IDB policies, in close coordination with Corporate Procurement and other partners (e.g., Office of Ethics). Provide guidance to the HRD Management Team on all RPA topic areas (e.g., HR, budget, finance, administration, travel, learning, etc.). Supervise, coach, and mentor junior staff members on all RPA domains. Coordinate the logistics of official events and implement standard methodologies. Plan and handle office space in coordination with HRD Divisions. Identify, map, diagnose, and recommend streamlining opportunities or improvements to business processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the RPA function. Work under the moderate supervision of others.

Education: Masterโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or other fields relevant to the roleโ€™s responsibilities. Experience: At least 4 years of progressive experience in budget, financial analysis, human resources, and/or general administration. Understanding of the IDB or similar international organizations is a plus. Knowledge working with Hyperion, SAP, ServiceNow and Concur is a plus. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is a requirement. Languages: Proficiency in English required. Additional proficiency in another Bank language (French, Portuguese and/or Spanish) desirable.

Requirements

Type of contract and duration

International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
