About this position
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and innovative Resource Planning and Administration Sr. Associate or Associate. As Resource Planning and Administration Sr. Associate or Associate, you will coordinate all matters related to human resource management, strategic management, financial management, accounting, and office administration, ensuring the efficient use of assigned resources geared to fulfill the Risk Management Officeโs objectives.
You will work in the Front Office of Risk Management (RMG) team. This performs the second line of defense role in managing risk within the organization. RMG is responsible for strengthening the Bank's capacity to identify, measure and manage the credit risks of the Bank in its loan portfolio, and its treasury activities including derivatives. It also manages the Bank's exposure to market, socioenvironmental and operational risks.
What youโll do:
Human Resources Management
Coordinate the development and implementation of RMGโs Human Resources strategy for staff and consultants, RMGโs workforce planning, including recruitment, hiring, transfers, terminations, and onboarding & offboarding. Coordinate with HRD the Annual Performance Review and Promotion exercise, the employee recognition initiative, and the Diversity & Inclusion programs, as well as other HR-related activities. Coordinate with engagement champions the design and implementation of RMGโs employee engagement survey response action plan. Manage the Kudos Reward platform by ensuring efficient use of this program. Serve as the focal point in matters of Human Resources demonstrating a good understanding of strategies and policies, and the ability to advise staff and management on relevant issues and practices. Prepare RMGโs Knowledge, Innovation and Communication (KIC) plan and ensure its timely execution.Strategic Management
Coordinate the annual update of RMGโs Strategic Risk Management Plan; monitor and report its execution in alignment with the Main Business Functions (MBFs). Periodically analyze and evaluate the implementation of the plan, providing timely reporting to the Officeโs management team. Support the roll-out of the components of the Updated Institutional Strategy that are under RMGโs responsibility, as concerns the Institutional Dimension and related Corporate Results Framework (CRF). Contribute to ensuring a service-oriented culture and a customer-friendly organization by fostering communication, trying new and creative solutions to solve problems, and streamline processes that will allow to achieve high levels of performance and quality in delivering results.Budgeting, Accounting, and Financial Management
Advice on the best use of resources during budget formulation and execution phases of the budget cycle and provide financial forecasts and contingency plans to ensure their timely execution. Perform data analysis and reporting status and provide recommendations for decision-making to Management on financial resources to accurately manage budgets and contracts. Ensure the Officeโs program is within budgetary limits and in compliance with procurement and financial policies and guidelines. Plan, execute, and monitor financial resources, including identification of needs for goods and services, the definition of targets and indicators, and execution of payments & accounting. Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end analysis and activities such as review of key accountsโ status and perform corresponding reclassification and report of accruals. Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and counterparts to resolve day-to-day accounting and reporting activities.Administration and Corporate matters
Serve as the focal point in matters of the Bankโs administrative and procurement activities demonstrating a good understanding of guidance and policies, and the ability to advise staff and management on relevant issues and practices. Provide procedural and task guidance to junior staff. Facilitate corporate procurement and contracting processes and execution for business firms and other administrative services. Lead and coordinate space requirements and improvements, as well as office assignments. Manage administrative functions and corporate matters including the administration of roles and access to the Bankโs systems, processing of travel authorizations and expenses, Time & Attendance reporting and administration, and information technology and tools requests. Identify and recommend solutions to administrative challenges. Lead the necessary activities for the execution of RMGโs sponsored retreats, meetings, conferences, and other events.What you'll need
Education: Masterโs degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Accounting, Business Administration, Financial Management, Human Resources, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role. Training and certification in Agile Methodologies and/or Project Management are highly desired. Experience: At least 3 years of progressive experience in the management of budget and finance, accounting, human resources, or general administration. Knowledge of relevant IDB Group policies, procedures, systems (SAP, Convergence, Hyperion, ServiceNow) and databases, and management processes would be an advantage. Hands-on experience using digital technologies and content management systems and reporting is desired. Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other the Bank official languages (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is required.Key skills
