Position Summary
Alliance is seeking to recruit a project Intern. The intern will work with the team in the UNOPS project that is supporting the development of a greenhouse gases inventory for the crop subsector in Kenya. The position will be based in Nairobi, Kenya office.
- Assist in extracting the current reported greenhouse gases emissions from different agricultural activities in global data bases for Kenya.
- Review the existing climate change and agricultural policies and document the proposed mitigation actions for the crop sector in Kenya.
- Review the Initiative for Climate Action (ICAT) transparency methodology and document the key data and indicators needed for a proper tracking of crop mitigation actions.
