FHI 360 seeks a qualified candidate for the position of USAID-Funded Global Health Program Evaluation Analysis Research and Learning (GH-PEARL) Project Director. Through GH-PEARL USAID aims to provide global technical leadership using a broad range of cutting-edge activities in monitoring evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) combined with knowledge management and knowledge translation. GH-PEARL activities will be conducted in support of USAID efforts to reduce preventable maternal, newborn, and child mortality; advance primary health care; improve coverage and equity of family planning (FP), reproductive, maternal, newborn, child health, and nutrition (RMNCH+N) service delivery; and address emerging challenges including pandemics and climate change. GH-PEARL will also directly support efforts to strengthen the capacity of local organizations and institutions to engaged in MERL activities.

Availability of position is contingent upon successful award to FHI 360 and approval of Key Personnel.

Job Summary:

The GH-PEARL Project Director will be responsible for providing the overall direction and managerial and technical leadership to ensure the achievement of the program results. S/he/They will oversee all aspects of project implementation, including program technical quality, personnel, and financial management. S/he will maintain close coordination with USAID and other stakeholders, ensuring that all project activities are implemented in a timely manner and are of high quality. The Project Director will serve as the principal liaison to USAID and will have regular communication with the USAID Agreement Officerโ€™s Representative and USAID-Mission staff in supported countries. The Project Director may engage in implementing GH-PEARL activities as time and expertise permits. This position will be based in North Carolina or Washington, DC.
