The Program Development and Grants Manager (PDG-M) will be based in NS and will report to the Director of Programs. They will be responsible for contributing to fundraising, grants management and reporting, facilitating inputs from departments to develop high quality proposals and reports.

In particular the position will: 1) Lead concept notes and proposal development through facilitation of the project design process from idea to final proposal output. 2) Line manage the Grants and Reporting Coordinator, to ensure a thorough grant management process across departments. 3)Manage donor reporting by ensuring learning exercises and reporting processes are systematized, as well as building national staff capacity. 4)Lead in the development of the partnership strategy and approaches for NES.

Qualifications:

Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field (Social Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, Developmental Studies) or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 5 years of experience in working in a conflict context supporting humanitarian assistance programs. Extremely strong formal, written communications skills. Understanding of and experience with various donor proposal and reporting requirements. Grant management and partnership management experience.
