Technology and Operations supports the organizationโ€™s work by providing reliable and scalable solutions for the IRCโ€™s offices around the world, including many technologically challenging locations.

The Data Insights, Systems, and Architecture team at IRC is responsible for the design and delivery of data and technology solutions at the IRC. Out team sets the standard for high-impact results by establishing and cultivating relationships across the organization, driving continuous improvement, and delivering value through the implementation of high-quality, strategic data programs. Major Responsibilities:

Technical Product Management

โ€ข Drive aspects of planning and execution of project activities for products including analysis, specifications, planning, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, communications, budgeting and reporting

โ€ข Document business goals, business requirements, technical requirements, and technical specifications

โ€ข Plan, execute, deliver user-focused solutions by effectively coordinating with technical and non-technical staff and consultants

โ€ข Work with a variety of stakeholders to establish business needs

โ€ข Write stories for product development

โ€ข Develop business cases by interacting with stakeholders from multiple, globally distributed business units

โ€ข Build productive relationships with users and business owners

Data Analysis

โ€ข Collect and interpret data

โ€ข Analyze results

โ€ข Identifying patterns and trends in data sets

โ€ข Report the results back

โ€ข Defining new data collection and analysis processes

Communications

โ€ข Communicate regularly and proactively with project teams, internal and external stakeholders, and leadership

โ€ข Create presentations on products, programs, and process

Capacity Building and Support

โ€ข Develop training materials

โ€ข Deliver training

โ€ข Troubleshoot and investigate issues

Qualifications

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

Education: BSc/BA in Computer Science, Economics, Public Health, Engineering or other relevant field

Language Skills: English required

Preferred experience & skills:

โ€ข 2 - 3 years of professional experience

โ€ข Background in humanitarian or development programming

โ€ข French language

Working Environment: Standard office work environment
