PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Job Summary:
The Procurement Manager takes lead in managing procurement of programmatic activities. She/he is responsible for compliance of B4R procurement processes with USAID rules and regulations, RTI policies and procedures and ensures completeness and high quality of procurement documentation. Ensures that โvalue for moneyโ is achieved through competitive and transparent Procurement processes. Supervises Procurement Specialist.
Essential Duties:
Minimum Required Education & Experience
Masterโs degree in a relevant field and 6 years of experience Bachelorโs Degree in Business development, Procurement or Supply Chain Management and 10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management at senior level. At least 5 years of experience working for a USAID project at a managerial level Professional qualification of CIPS or CILT is an added advantageSkills & Abilities
Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Strong analytical thinking, planning ability and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to occasionally travel within the project areas of operation and work well with others Dependability, reliability, and high integrityMinimum Required Education & Experience
