Terms of ReferenceUNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is offering a full-time internship with the Private sector Partnership (PSP) Service team under the Division of External Relation at UNHCR, Republic of Korea.

Organizational context
The intern will closely work under the direct supervision of Senior PSP Officer.
UNHCR aims to increase financial support substantially from the Private Partnerships & Philanthropy (PPH) sector encompassing Corporate, Foundation, and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) in the Republic of Korea. This intern will contribute to supporting the preparation of the PPH programs and implementation of stewardship for PPH partners to maintain the relationship with donors.

The position
This position will assist the office in conducting preliminary researches about the corporate/foundation giving market trends, preparing draft updates, proposals, and impact reports to the partners and donors.
Duties and responsibilities
• Draft documents regarding the proposals, appeals, reports and etc. in Korean and English
• Study market trends and collect related data in the market
• Assist in performing other tasks as required.

Minimum qualifications required
In order to be considered for an internship, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
• Be either a recent graduate (having completed their studies within two years of applying) or a current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme from a university or higher education facility accredited by IAU/UNESCO; and
• Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant or of interest to the work of UNHCR.

Desirable qualifications and skills
• Proven skills in writing, reasearching and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken Korean language skills and excellent English language skills
• Good computer skills to develop documents such as Mircosoft Office Word, Powerpoint, and Excel

Conditions
It is a full -time role with working hours starting from 9.00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). The successful candidate will be assigned to support the PPH Unit at the Private sector Partnership (PSP) Service team under the Division of External Relation at UNHCR, Republic of Korea.

Allowance: Interns who do not receive financial support from an outside party will receive an allowance to partially help to cover the cost of food, local transportation and living expenses.
