Portfolio Officer, Prospect Strategies - GL C - Temporary until December 2025

The Global Fundโ€™s Private Sector Engagement Department (PSED) principal goal is the mobilization of financial resources for the Global Fund. It does this by building funding partnerships with UHNIW Foundations and Companies.

In order to be effective in raising funds and to ensure that funds can be effectively deployed PSED works closely with the technical and grant management teams in the Global Fund to develop products, topical themes and other potential funding opportunities.

PSED identifies prospects for specific areas and within specific industries and develops strategies to engage and mobilized greater interest in supporting the Global Fundโ€™s agenda. PSED also manages the existing pool of partners to not only retain funding for future Replenishments, but also nurture them as champions to engage other prospects.

This role will be responsible for supporting the Portfolio Manager, Prospect Strategies and PSE team in the development of prospect strategies. This will include undertaking sector or prospect group research. It will also include tracking the implementation of strategies and support the revision based on active learning. This role will support the manager in the planning, logistics and coordination of. Lastly, the role will support the manager in the coordination of internal processes for the team, specifically those that support the partner engagement and management, such as the Private Sector Engagement Committee process.
