The Global Communications Service relies upon quality professional photography to communicate UNHCRโs brand and messages in products across the organizationโs platforms, including the UNHCR global web site, global and senior leader social media accounts, UNHCRโs emergency funding appeals and flagship publications, Global Trends, Global Appeals etc. Quality professional images are essential to promote understanding of UNHCRโs work and illustrate the organizationโs messages.
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, needs a seasoned professional photographer with experience shooting UNHCR operations and refugee stories. The photographer must complete consent forms for every photo. The photographer will liaise with the office and Photo Unit to ensure thorough coverage.
Qualification and experience required (degree required, years of work experience, field of expertise, language required):
Experienced photojournalist who has worked for news and humanitarian agencies in refugee emergencies/conflict areas.
