Major Function

The People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) position is responsible for aligning People & Culture (P&C) and Organizational objectives with employees and leadership in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicating proactively with our P&C department and the business unit's management, and seeks to develop integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the P&C function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The PCBP team closely collaborates with Total Rewards, People Technology, Talent Acquisition, and Organizational Development & Learning to advance the strategic goals and initiatives of the P&C team

Salary: The expected compensation range for this position is $85,900 - $107,300

Responsibilities

Consults with senior leadership and line management, provides P&C policy guidance and interpretation. Conducts periodic meetings with assigned business units. Provides day-to-day guidance to line management on performance management, talent acquisition, promotions, transfers our policies and workforce planning. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Conducts interpersonal and team development activities. Conducts and facilitates training across the organization on P&C policies. Serves as integral part of P&C initiatives that occur on a regular or ad hoc basis including climate/culture surveys & exit surveys. Partners & collaborates with other units in the P&C Team to coordinate work and to develop and project plan solutions, programs and policies. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the Integrity & Risk department as well as General Council as needed/required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field and 8 years of experience in Human Resources as a generalist. Four years of additional work experience can substitute for a bachelorโ€™s degree. Experience successfully managing the full cycle of Human Resources processes and policies. Working knowledge of appropriate HR laws and regulations. Additional experience in People & Culture (HR) specialty areas such as performance management, diversity and inclusion, workforce planning, training and development, mediation, and employee relations is a plus. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to mediate is critical.
