About this position

We are looking for a strategic and highly motivated professional with experience designing, producing, delivering, and evaluating learning products to join our team as a PEC Consultant for the Coordination of Learning products at the Operations Learning Program (OLP).

As PEC Consultant, you will coordinate the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning products, ensuring that they align with the organization鈥檚 strategic goals and meet the needs of the target audience. It includes administrative and logistical aspects of the production and delivery of project activities.

You will work in the Operations Learning Program (OLP), part of the Knowledge and Learning Division (KLD/SDI). This team is responsible for ensuring access to relevant and high-quality knowledge and technical learning to support corporate processes and speed up the preparation and execution of the Bank鈥檚 operational program. The Inter-American Institute for Economic and Social Development (INDES) is responsible for the learning area within this division. The INDES seeks to strengthen technical capabilities in the Region to address development challenges successfully.

What you鈥檒l do

Coordinate design, development, implementation, and evaluation of knowledge and learning projects. It includes administrative and logistical aspects of the production and delivery of project activities.

Support conceptualization, preparation, and implementation of learning programs.

Support needs assessments, gap identification, and prioritization of learning needs.

Support innovative approaches to increase effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Support the creation of learning objectives, modular structures, activities, and resources.

Support the creation of strategies for each course's formative and summative assessment, including designing open-response assessments and corresponding rubrics.

Coordinate production of training resources, such as videos, readings, case studies, practical exercises, guidelines, and rubrics.

Ensure the quality of course resources, such as their proper functioning and display, spell checking, and consistency with the content approved by the SME.

Support that courses are aligned with Quality Matters (QM) standards (i.e., ensure the alignment of learning objectives, contents, activities, and assessments).

Integrate learning resources to the corresponding LMS platform.

Prepare and analyze monitoring and evaluation reports.

Other relative activities to achieve the consult goals.

Deliverables and Payments Timeline

Structured general results

Evaluation of the performance of the participants (if applicable)

Incidents presented by the participants (if applicable)

Challenges & recommendations to improve the performance and impact.

What you'll need

Education: Bachelor鈥檚 degree in pedagogy, education, psychology, communications, industrial engineer or related fields. Candidates with a Master, certification in e-learning will be considered positively.

Experience: At least two (2) years of experience supporting learning products in any modality of delivery. Experience in remote education aimed at public or private sector officials will be considered positively.

Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.
