Provide input to employees in handling a wide range of workplace issues in accordance with the principles of confidentiality, informality, impartiality, and independence. Help employees understand and explore options for possible actions, providing coaching and referrals as needed, as well as specialized assistance for harassment and discrimination cases. Work on institutional iniatives related to handling employee conduct issues, including developing and operationalizing a system for referring cases from other units to OMN and a rapid response system for microaggressions, as well as other iniatives aimed at maintaining a positive, respectful and inclusive workplace. Conduct and/or oversee employee mediations for formal and informal employment disputes. Ensure that employees and Management are familiar with mediation services and that high-quality mediation services are provided in a timely fashion.
