OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME:

To provide technical support to the Ministry of Health on HIV program to monitor the implementation of the National HIV action plan

SUMMARY OF ASSIGNED DUTIES:

Under the direct supervision of HIV/STI/hepatitis team Leader, and in close collaboration and coordination with the Ministry of Health and partners the incumbent will:

  1. Assist and provide technical assistance to HIV sub-directorate data team in data analysis and utilization

  2. Assist and provide technical assistance to HIV sub-directorate in providing feedback data to sub-national levels

  3. Assist and provide technical assistance to HIV sub-directorate to coordinate with all HIV/STI programs stakeholders related to data

  4. Assist and provide technical assistance in development/update of M&E guidelines, module training and its implementation

  5. Provide recommendations to improve the data base system

  6. Provide technical assistance to create link of data among patient, laboratory and logistic data

  7. Provide technical assistance in surveillance, surveillance related activities and epidemiologic reviews

  8. Undertake any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by supervisor as required.

Functional Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of data entry, data analysis and producing reports

Education Qualifications:

Essential: A first degree in Public health focusing on epidemiology or biostatistics

Desirable: Master’s degree in public health

Experience:

Essential:

At least three years of professional work experience in the data entry and analysis

At least three years of experience in working with the HIV program

At least two years’ experience working with the Ministry of Health or provincial or district health office

Desirable:

Experience working in the UN or other international development organization

Languages:

Expert knowledge of written and spoken English and native language skills in Bahasa Indonesia

Other Skills (e.g. IT):

Work is performed in normal working environment.
Computer literacy: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
