This position has the unique opportunity to straddle External Relations Business Operations and the ITโs Marketing Technology teams. Marketing Technology delivers the enterprise supporter management platforms that support the global delivery of private sector resources, as well as the key partnerships, advocacy and influence objectives of the External Relations, Communications and Advocacy departments. These platforms also play an important strategic role in the creation of brand, its awareness and support for fundraising and advocacy goals. The platforms include the Enterprise CRM platform, various donation platforms, the global website and email communications platforms.
Job Overview/Summary:
The Mulesoft Developer performs hands-on technical implementation, with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the Mulesoft platform for Salesforce.com and relational databases. The developer crafts, implements, deploys, and details integration projects that improve the Salesforce.com, ETL, and SQL toolset.
Drawing on the technical skills, critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity, the developer implements new solutions and/or tackles issues. They are a dynamic, self-motivated, and technical savvy to deliver the technical edge to business users and department to meet their goals.
Major Responsibilities:
โข Identify, analyze, and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint platform including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center and API management
โข Experience crafting API specs using RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI or other API modeling language, Batch Processing, Parallel Processing.
โข Experience building integrations with one or more data-warehouses (relational and non-relational databases) and solutions for CRM (Salesforce)
โข Responsible for programming the integration logic using related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementation.
โข Develop solutions by crafting system specifications, standards, and programming
โข Need a solid technical background in integration middleware and engineering technologies.
โข Serve as the authority for solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration, and customization of sophisticated environments
โข Must be a MuleSoft Certified Developer

Minimum Requirements
โข Bachelorโs degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering or equivalent;
โข At least 3 years of Mulesoft experience with implementing solutions-oriented architecture (SOA) and enterprise application integration (EAI) using Mulesoft platform
โข A minimum 3+ years of professional work experience CRM (Salesforce) and Relations databases (non-profit experience a plus) and IT delivery, IT services, and professional services environments.
โข Experience in ETL designing and developing code based on requirements, unit testing and build user documentation.
โข Proficient with SQL, SOQL, JSON for data manipulation and complex custom reports.
โข Superb communication and social skills, including ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, internal customer, high-level staff and external vendors, strong customer service orientation, good writing skills, ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audience.
Preferred Additional Qualification
โข Experience with Heroku Connect, PostgreSQL and MSSQL.
โข Experience with web services or application programming interfaces is a phenomenal plus.
โข Experience with fundraising applications for non-profit organizations.
โข Experience in working optimally with an Agile delivery model.
โข Experience in implementing business intelligence and data warehouse solutions.

This position is fully remote.
โข The post holder will be required to travel to 3-5 times per year for in-person time with team and learning development opportunities.

Compensation:
Posted pay ranges apply to US and UK-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
