We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of: Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) Director for an anticipated USAID-funded integrated health project in Mozambique.

Description:

The MNCH Director will provide management and technical oversight of activities to improve access to and quality of maternal newborn and child health (MNCH) services at the community- and health facility-levels. The MNCH Director will be based in Quelimane, Zambรฉzia and will directly oversee staff in the main project office and provide technical support and guidance to regional and provincial teams in Mocuba, Nampula, Niassa, and Tete. This will require frequent travel across the projectโ€™s focal provinces, districts and communities. This role will report directly to Technical Director for Integrated Service Delivery and work in tandem with the Nutrition and Immunization Technical Directors to ensure the Activity meets stated integrated health service delivery goals, quality standards, and reporting requirements. The MNCH Director will also coordinate among USAID, donors, other health implementing partners (IPs), and numerous Government of the Republic of Mozambique (GRM) institutions and representatives, at the district, provincial and national level, for MNCH service delivery activities. The MNCH Director will assist the Technical Director for Integrated Service Delivery to ensure the overall success of the project and will be responsible for managing the technical direction and implementation of MNCH-related facility and community-based programming. The proposed candidate must fulfill the position requirements detailed below.
