5 Steps to get a job in the United Nations

The salary range is 57,255 to 78,075 USD.

Position Overview

The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (Global Partnership), hosted at the United Nations Foundation, is a dynamic international network bringing together over 700 partners including governments, international organizations, private companies, civil society organizations, and many others.

This year we launch our brand-new strategy which will take us through 2030. Our vision is to achieve a world where data and technology is driving sustainable and equitable development. We will deliver this vision by focusing on three core objectives:

We will strengthen national data systems that use data and technology from across the public and private sector for timely decision making. We will make inclusion the norm, putting people at the center of data production, sharing and use so that their experience is visible, and the power of data is used to fight inequality. We will change the rules that govern data, ensuring they are accountable to those who the data is intended to serve.

The External Relations Division has developed a plan to support the delivery of our strategy, and we are now ready to execute this plan. The Communications Manager will play an important part in making that happen.

The ideal candidate for this position will combine interest in and experience of international and public relations, public policy, and communications โ€” all for the purpose of improving the production and use of data for sustainable development. Working closely with the Senior Communications Manager and the wider secretariat, the Communications Manager will develop, deliver, and maintain some of the Global Partnershipโ€™s main strategic communications plans to support engagement across web, media, events, and stakeholder relations.

This position is remote.
