Do you have a passion for promoting accountability and fostering organizational learning? The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Associate, Monitoring & Learning within the Independent Project Accountability Mechanism (IPAM).
About Us
IPAM plays a critical role in ensuring accountability and transparency in EBRD-funded projects. We are committed to promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chief Accountability Officer to implement remedial actions and promote an accountability learning culture within the Bank.
- Monitor the implementation of Management Action Plans and produce Monitoring Reports.
- Design and implement an institutional learning program based on case experience and trends.
- Analyze case data to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and best practices.
- Create knowledge dissemination and capacity development products such as e-courses and webinars.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics, development, social sciences, or a relevant field.
- Experience in monitoring action plans and conducting research.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Tableau, Access, Stata, MaxQDA desirable.
- Understanding of environmental and social standards in development finance.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and build strong relationships.
