    JOB PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

    Provide substantial value to WFPโ€™s and The Gambia COโ€™s effective positioning with public, private and external partners to attract policy support, resources, technical assistance and innovative solutions to advance the work of WFP, while supporting member states in the achievement of the SDGs and Zero Hunger and emphasizing WFPโ€™s contributions in this regard.

    To support all Operational Information Management and Performance Reporting (OIM & PR) activities and contribute to the establishment and presentation of standard and consistent operating picture of WFP operations and associated results that facilitate informed and timely decision-making at all levels throughout the organisation.

    Provide support in the establishment of risk management activities in The Gambia CO; contribute to the application of controls and compliance with policies and procedures and to the overall effectiveness of operations and optimization of WFP resource.

    Contribute to the coordination of WFP programmes and activities in the Gambia CO to ensure appropriate follow-up on issues and priorities, effective decision-making, and continued implementation of critical actions.

    Under the direct supervision of the CD (and of the DCD, in the absence of the CD).
