About this position

BID Invest, a member of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group, promotes private-sector development in Latin America and the Caribbean with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Information Technology area of its Analytics, Knowledge and Information Division is seeking an experienced Information Technology Contractual to work with Collaboration Solutions for SharePoint and Websites.

The consultant will work with IT collaboration solutions giving technical solutions and client support in coordination with the business for SharePoint and Websites.

What you鈥檒l do

Manage SharePoint based applications, including Intranet, custom developed solutions, and document management systems.

Manage external website, with a Drupal based implementation on Pantheon, integrating functionalities and information from internal systems.

Work with all stakeholders (including business leaders and end users) to analyze business needs, translating into systems requirements.

Work with external transparency organization, understanding data models to improve the disclosure of approved information.

Work with the Solutions Architect to design an appropriate solution.

Work with developers to ensure that the SharePoint and WebSites solutions meet stakeholder expectations.

Plan, design, develop, and launch efficient systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.

Manage capital projects, be the point of contact with external vendors, ensure delivery withing scope, cost, and time.

Manage support, prioritize tickets, and ensure that incidents and work requests are fulfilled in timed manner.

Conduct research on emerging SharePoint development tools and strategies.

Continually strive to improve the efficiency and usability of our SharePoint solutions, leveraging your ongoing research and understanding of business needs. Perform assigned tasks related to client support for different collaboration solutions.

What you'll need

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science. Master鈥檚 degree is a plus.

Experience: Ability to clearly demonstrate skills with a minimum of 2 years in the following areas:

o Microsoft SharePoint

o Microsoft Office 365 Administration

o Drupal CMS and customization

o Pantheon Hosting Platform

o Website development

o Website administration, including hosting, WAF, routing and DNS.

o Interoperability standards, Web Services, APIs, XML and JSON

Languages: English. Spanish and Portuguese is a plus.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
