The \"Support Project for the Implementation of the Paris Agreement\" (SPA) advises the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) and the Federal Foreign Office (AA) on the monitoring and implementation of international initiatives that support countries in the implementation of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) and Long-term strategies (LTS). Furthermore, the project hosts the secretariat of the Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement (PATPA).
This internship concerns an internship position at PATPA. PATPA supports international efforts to engage in practical exchanges and political dialogue on climate transparency, primarily through the organization of regional workshops. Transparency is of particular importance in the climate context, as it helps build up mutual trust and helps track progress on climate action, enabling countries to raise ambitions so that the goals of the Paris Agreement can be met. Due to PATPAโs global focus, language skills (especially French, Spanish and/or Portuguese) as well as event management skills are particularly relevant for the position.
