The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a highly qualified, resilient, and dynamic professionalย to take up the role of Humanitarian Access Manager for North Central America and Mexico,ย who willย supports NRC NCA&M country strategy (50%) by providing strategic advice and analysis, operational support, technical guidance, and strengthening capacity for NRC teams and partners. Through humanitarian engagement, advocacy, access coordination and analysis, the manager will support the Country Office and Area Officeโ€™s in planning and operationalizing of strategies and approaches that will increase the reach, acceptance and impact of NRC programmes, particularly in hard-to-reach areas.ย The Access Manager will also co-lead the recently created HAWG in Honduras (50%). As the dedicated NGO co-lead for the HAWG, the position is managed by NRC, and responsible to represent broader NGO interests, positions and needs to provide sound technical and strategic advice to the in-country humanitarian leadership.
