Purpose of the role
The Human Resources Technical Assistant is responsible for providing day-to-day assistance in the implementation of the operational tasks of the HR function. This includes the implementation of the various policies and procedures related such as contracts management, personnel data management, data entry and reporting, filing and documents management.
What you will do
Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines Assist with the implementation of the HR function according to Plan of Action Ensure proper filing of documents. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management. Update staff records and files on a regular basis. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the HR function Actively promote PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRCย
Specifically, you will;
Ensure that the HR system and all relevant tracking sheets are always updated, and that data is verified and entered accurately and in a timely manner. Perform data entry for various matters on the applicable tracking sheets and the HR system with utmost accuracy. Ensure that the data in the HR System is accurate for NRC Iraq and conduct regular spot-checks to report on gaps and challenges. Ensure that the filing tree is up to date for all of NRC Iraqโs operations, and all files are saved correctly and in the right foldersย (i.e., all staff personnel files, timesheets, and other HR related documents) in line with NRCโs guidelines. Perform monthly audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Receive timesheets from Finance on a monthly basis and share with relevant staff while ensuring they are signed and saved in the relevant foldersย Process relevant HR payments in a timely manner (i.e., health insurance payment) Act as a focal point with the insurance company for staff enrolment, additions, and any other related issues. Provide ideas and suggestions to improve the workflow and come up with proactive ways to ensure the work is always timely and error-free.
