The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies. To learn more please visit about GGGI web page.

The Global Green Growth Institute internship program provides a unique learning opportunity for students and recent graduates from diverse academic backgrounds. The program is designed for talented and motivated individuals skilled in areas relevant to GGGIโ€™s operations. The program allows selected candidates to gain insight into the work of the Institute and provides assistance and training in various professional fields in a multicultural environment. We encourage qualified women and men, in particular, nationals of developing countries, with diverse professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds to apply.

The CAID unit at GGGI Headquarters in Seoul supports activities related to climate change adaptation and knowledge management. Tasks include reviewing National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) submitted to the UNFCCC, conducting research on climate change adaptation and resilient green growth, and preparing related knowledge products. The unit also participates in meetings and workshops to gain insights from stakeholders. Additionally, they contribute to project implementation, ongoing research, and the preparation of reports, policy papers, presentations, and briefing materials.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a talented individual to work with us in the Climate Action and Inclusive Development (CAID) Unit at the GGGI Headquarters in Seoul to support activities under Climate Change Adaptation work stream and perform a range of activities related to knowledge management and general support tasks.
