Summary of Position

Under the Health & Nutrition Program Manager, the Hospital Director is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and strategic direction of the Makkah hospital. This leadership role requires a strong combination of managerial skills, healthcare industry knowledge, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Purpose: The purpose of the Hospital Director position is to ensure the smooth functioning of the hospital, maintain compliance with regulations and standards, drive operational efficiency, and foster a culture of excellence in healthcare delivery.

Engagement: The Hospital Director will actively engage with various stakeholders, including the hospital staff, physicians, patients, and external partners. Building and maintaining strong relationships with these stakeholders is essential for effective collaboration and achieving organizational goals.

Essential Job Functions

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to align the hospital's objectives with the broader healthcare landscape. Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the hospital, including personnel management, facility maintenance, and supply chain management. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards and protocols to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements, ensuring the hospital's adherence to all applicable laws and standards. Staff Development: Recruit, train, and develop a skilled workforce, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth. Patient Experience: Implement initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience, ensuring compassionate care and patient satisfaction. Community Engagement: Act as a liaison between the hospital and the community, participating in outreach programs and fostering positive community relationships.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The position will supervise the deputy hospital director.

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Professional Experience:

A master\u2019s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a healthcare organization, preferably in a hospital setting. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare policies, regulations, and best practices. Strong understanding of financial management principles and budgeting. Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
