Health Policy and Integration Team Lead: The Health Policy and Integration Team Lead will be under supervision of Deputy Chief of Party. S/he will provide day-to-day management of health policies/guidelines development, revision, and integration related activities under EQHA II's objective 1. S/he will provide technical assistance and facilitate system thinking among key stakeholders, including coordinating institutions and national programs/ centers leading key vertical interventions, to generate and package evidence, conduct policy analysis, and develop, advocate and support the adoption of feasible, efficient and sustainable policies, guidelines, and strategies for improving the quality and availability of healthcare services at all levels. S/he will work closely with relevant stakeholders and partners to promote the integration of national vertical programs into the mainstream health systems. S/he will provide technical leadership and assistance across the project on infectious disease topics including HIV/AIDS, TB, and emerging disease. S/he will play the role as the infectious disease subject matter expert and work in close collaboration with technical team to define thematic priorities and guide corresponding interventions based on global standards and latest evidence. S/he will coordinate the review of existing strategies and works closely with stakeholders to develop and implement new strategies and pilot innovative private sector activities through close coordination with Objectives 2 and 3 team. S/he will collaborate with other functional teams within EQHA II to ensure harmonized work and a synergy within EQHA IIโ€™s quality improvement interventions at policy and implementation level.
