What we are looking for
NRC is looking for a Head of Programme Support to join the Afghanistan mission. The role holder will guide the development and evolution of the grant portfolio; be the focal point for project cycle management and safe and inclusive programming; ensure a robust monitoring and evaluation system for the programme; and support management of partnerships and consortia.

What you will do
Strategy development, programme forecasting, and funding opportunities identification.Grant management and project cycle management processes compliance.Donor submission management, including project proposals and reporting.Quality controlย of donor applications and reports.Donor monitoring visits.Partnerships identification and development, including capacity building and compliance initiatives.Consortium Management Unit coordination for available funding and development of consortia applications.Monitoring and evaluation systemย oversight.Safe and inclusive programmingย planning and oversight.We highly encourage you to learn more about the role:ย please review the full Job Description here.What you will bring
Senior grant managementย experience, with responsibility for a programme, in a humanitarian/recovery context.Consortia coordination or leadership, or other forms of partnership implementation, experience.Monitoring and evaluation systems, approaches, and accountability mechanisms/frameworks knowledge and expertise.Monitoring and evaluation systems development experience.Donor landscape, priorities, and conditions awareness.Integrated programming exposure.Complex and volatile context exposure.Afghanistan contextย exposure and knowledge, pertaining to displacement and humanitarian needsย will be an added advantage.Englishย fluency, both written and verbal.What makes this position attractive?
