ICRISAT seeks applications from dynamic Indian professionals for the full-time post of Manager for its Agribusiness and Innovation Platform (AIP) - Global Research Program โ Enabling Systems Transformation (EST). The incumbent will report to CEO-AIP and this position is based at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha State, India.

Job Responsibilities:
Project management, stakeholder coordination, strategic consulting, project planning and execution, industry networking, promotion, marketing and business development for Odisha Supply Chain Project (SCM) project.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Overall management of the Odisha SCM project in terms of coordination with the donors, RMCs, stakeholders and beneficiaries of the project
- Visit all the Integrated Pack Houses (IPHs) / Primary Processing Centres (PPCs) locations in districts of Odisha to monitor the progress of the project and discuss with potential FPC/SHGs/ Societies as operators of the facility
- Interaction with the identified FPOs, traders, entrepreneurs and private companies for assessment of their engagement in the IPHs / PPC operations
- Development of Training and capacity building programs for govt. officials, FPO members, farmers and IPH / PPC operators
- Mentoring of district authorities, farmers and IPH / PPC operators on the business management and sustainable business operations
- Development of SOPs for the IPH / PPC operations
- Assist ICRISAT backend team in the development of the MIS platform for Odisha SCM
- Facilitate marketing linkages for the IPHs / PPCs for their output produce that includes fruits, vegetables and other perishables
- Development of marketing, promotion and branding strategy for Odisha SCM project
- Handle a team of 8 to 10 people engaged in the project
- Any other assignment as requested by the managementEducation & Experience:
- Master's degree in business administration with a background in agriculture or a closely connected field
- Minimum of 18-20 years' experience in the project management & operations, marketing and marketing roles in the agricultural and agribusiness sectors, with understanding of the institutions and networks within those sectors
- Experience in fruits & vegetables sector on supply chain management projects will be an added advantageCompetencies:
- Good writing & communication skills (English, Hindi & Oriya) and networking skills
- Knowledge of setting up small and medium primary and secondary processing units
- Expertise in facilitating licenses for the processing units
- Experience working in a multicultural team
- Experience in handling MS Office packageHow to apply:
