Do you have what it takes to be successful in this role?
- University diploma or degree in the relevant area such as but not limited to i.e. finance, accounting, economics or at least 2 yearsโ experience in a related field
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting, preferably within the international organizations.
- Strong knowledge of INGO financial rules, regulations, and procedures is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial management software such as SAP/YODA and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of project management principles and experience working on donor-funded projects is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (both oral and written). Knowledge of local languages spoken in Bougainville is a plus.
- Experience working in delivering projects, preferably within the aid and development sector.
- Experience in supporting capacity-building of partner organisations; enjoys capacity building and training staff and partners
