The purpose of the Finance Manager is to be responsible that the Finance Structure in Syria Response Office is functioning according to NRC standard, as well as to support programme implementation from the financial perspective in Syriaโs Areas of Implementation.ย

The Finance Manager is a key role in the NRC Syria Response Office, who contributes to provide financial analysis and allocate financial resources in the different areas of implementation in a highly challenging and volatile context.ย
What you will doย ย
Implement NRCโs financial systems, routines and procedures at national levelย Maintain overall budget control and monitor cash flows ย Ensure that budgeting, accounting, year-end procedures and other financial processes take place in adherence to Financial Handbook, other NRC policies and donor and auditor requirements ย Management of financial team at country office ย Training, development and internal โauditsโ of financial teams in all offices.ยPlease download theย detailed job descriptionย ย ย to learn more about the position.ย ย ย
ย What you will bringย ย
Minimum 3 years of experience from working as a senior Financial Manager in a humanitarian/recovery contextย Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts ย Documented results related to the positionโs responsibilities ย Knowledge about own leadership skills/profileยย
What we offerย ย
Duty station: Amman, Jordanย
Contract: 12 months, renewal subject to funding and performanceย
Travel: N/Aย
Salary/benefits: Grade 9 on NRCโs Amman, Jordan salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.ย ย
