The USAIDโs Alliance for Combating TB in Bangladesh project is working to establish a dynamic and fresh approach to accelerate Bangladeshโs fight against TB. The solutions will be aimed at creating an environment aligned with the universal health coverage (UHC) vision and focused on defined priority areas โ increased TB detection, decentralized DR-TB management, improving detection and management of child TB, expanded prevention, and others.
The Field Attendants will report to the Programme Assistant/Programme Officer. The position holder will be responsible for screening patients attending health facilities in different districts and upazilas of different Divisions of ACTB activity areas. S/he will be involved inโ
Find the presumptive TB cases by active case-finding process with the use of screening tools as per national TB control guidelines; Referral of the presumptive TB cases to the physicians of assigned UHC/District Hospitals/Medical College Hospitals for further evaluation; Ensure all types of investigations according to the physicianโs advice; Ensure enrollment of TB patients, their treatment and regular follow-up; Collect data on index cases and conduct their house visits; Collect and document patientsโ information using Tab/computer; Operate mobile, Tab, computer, printer etc. and software like MS Word & Excel; Maintain necessary registers; Maintain coordination with field staff, govt. health officials, officials of concerned partner NGOs; Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.Required qualification and experience:
HSC pass or equivalent; Minimum 1 year relevant experience, however candidates having experience working in TB screening will be given preference. Local Candidates from Sylhet Divisions are highly encouraged to apply Candidates are requested to select one preferred district while applyingLocation:

Salary & benefits:
