About this position
We are looking for a strategic, technical, and bold Enterprise Architect. As Enterprise Architect, you will play a meaningful role in crafting and aligning the organization's technology and business strategies.
You will work in the IT Enterprise Architecture team, which is part of the IT Policy and Planning Division. This team is responsible for IT policies, architecture, security risk and governance for the IDB Group.
What youโll do:
Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that charts the progression of the enterprise's technological landscape to cater to both current and future requirements. Ensure that the business architecture is aligned with the strategic goals of ITE and the roadmap for IADB core applications. Serve as the domain authority in many areas of architecture. Partner with teams to define, collaborate, influence, and clearly communicate architecture requirements and principles to propose solutions to technical and business needs across the organization. Provide architectural domain input to create, migrate, and integrate modularized architectures and validated delivery methodologies across IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, serverless compute, message- and event-driven platforms. Collaborate with various IT operations and development teams by reviewing, assessing, and proposing architectural designs and patterns to ensure systems capabilities meet functional and technical requirements. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of architectural decisions, standards, and processes, and effectively communicate these to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and external partners, to ensure that architectural decisions meet the needs of all parties involved. Provide technical guidance to more junior staff. Work under the moderate supervision of others.What you'll need
Education: You hold a Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science [CMF1] or related field, Master degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum 4 years combined experience in software development, solutions architecture, cloud integration architecture, and/or data architecture. One or more of the following certifications desirable: AWS or Azure, TOGAF. Understanding of, and exposure to, the governance and operationalization of integration platforms and API management services. Exhibit proficiency in crafting scalable, robust API architectures that emphasize reusability, security, and performance. Demonstrate a deep understanding of enterprise-level cloud-native and hybrid cloud architectures, and adeptly align application/solution designs within these architectures/frameworks. Display competence in various programming and scripting languages such as C#, JavaScript, Java, Typescript, and Python, especially in crafting APIs, interfaces, and integration frameworks using both synchronous and asynchronous messaging, event-driven models, and other mechanisms. Familiarity with software development standard methodologies and patterns such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Code, Hexagonal Architecture, and other modern architectural patterns. Languages: Proficiency in English required. Spanish highly desirable. Knowledge of an additional Bank language (Portuguese or French) a plus.A candidate has been pre-identified for this position and may apply.
