The programme โParticipation, Accountability, and Integrity for a Resilient Democracy (PAIReD)โ supports public institutions in Ghana in implementing citizen-oriented, trustworthy, and accountable governance structures at national and local level. PAIReD works on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in partnership with the Ministry of Finance in Ghana and is implemented by the GIZ. As part of the programme is the field of anti-corruption which PAIReD plans to implement under a multi-donor action co-financed by the European Union that seeks to strengthen the rule of law and the fight against corruption in Ghana. The programme under this action will work with the anti-corruption state and non-state actors. The objective of the Development Worker is to enhance workflow processes through technology and also enable efficient internal and external communications with the organisation and among partners.
Your tasks
Support the streamlining of operations through the implementation of digital solutions. Contribute to promoting media rights, freer, and safer environment for independent journalism and expression. Contribute to co-creating and implementing activities on promoting anti-corruption and the protection of journalists and the media.Your profile
Completed vocational training or degree in information and communication technology, digitalisation, computer science, knowledge management Several years of relevant professional experience in technology and a passion for streamlining operations through the implementation of digital solutions Proven technology competence and use of technology for development communication in a professional context practical Knowledge in digital solutions practical Knowledge in communication, media and journalism practical Knowledge in anti-corruption topics will be an advantage Business fluent in EnglishLocation information
