Overview:
FHI 360 has an exciting internship opportunity for a student interested in growing their skills within the international crisis response sector. FHI 360โs Crisis Response (CR) team complements the organizationโs development programming by applying its humanitarian technical expertise to respond to the growing number of humanitarian crises around the worldโincluding pivoting to humanitarian programming in fragile, emergency, and conflict-affected countries where FHI 360 already has development initiatives.
Through an integrated approach, FHI 360 works to improve the health and well-being of crisis-affected individuals. Working closely with communities and local actors, FHI 360 provides health, nutrition, protection, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) assistance to address acute needs and support longer-term recovery and restoration of essential lifesaving services. All CR programs observe humanitarian and safeguarding principles, including Do No Harm and the survivor-centered approach, as we seek to understand how our actions can affect peopleโs safety and respect the rights, dignity, and decisions of our program participants.
