The Communication Intern is a member of the Public Information – Communication Unit and is under the overall supervision of the Associate Communication Officer to ensure that routine services and activities are implemented.
Subject to the nature of the engagement, he/she will receive regular guidance from other colleagues within the Unit. As per specific instructions, the Communication Intern may be required to liaise with other internal or external entities, such as media, various public and partners, to ensure effective delivery of services and achieve communications objectives. The nature of certain tasks requires discretion and confidentiality as per UNHCR Code of Conduct standards and practices.
