Terms of ReferenceGeneral background:
The Global Operations team within PSP is responsible for coordinating fundraising activities and sets targets and reports on performance for the fundraising network. The incumbent is a member of the Global Operations team and will support the team in further maintaining and improving the planning and reporting tools currently in place.
Purpose and Scope of Assignment:
Under the overall supervision of Business Analyst Officer, the incumbent will assist in the following:
Design and develop data pipelines for Azure data Factory solutions;
Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization techniques;
Proficient in SQL programming and writing complex queries;
Perform backup and restore operations for Managed Instance;
Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions and data warehouses;
Analyze and interpret complex data sets using statistical techniques;
Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools like Power BI;
Integrate data from various sources, including on-premises and cloud-based data sources;
Develop and maintain ETL workflows using ADF activities, functions, Azure Logic Apps, and transformations.
Troubleshoot data integration issues and optimize data integration pipelines for improved
performance
Integrate Power BI with different data sources, such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365;
Build and maintain data warehouses on Azure, ensuring data quality;
Analyze and refactor existing database schemas to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability;
Optimize database queries to improve performance;
Develop automated alerts to notify relevant parties of any issues or failures detected by monitoring systems;
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization;
Design and implement data models, dataflows, and datasets to ensure accurate and efficient data analysis;
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations;
Create and manage data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the process;
Implement security and access controls to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, optimizing data queries and visualizations for faster and more efficient processing;
Manage and maintain the Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of the environment;
Design, implement, and automate deployment of Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking components, and other services.
Qualification and Experience:
Education: Bachelor degree in ICT or related field.
Work experience:
3 years relevant experience with bachelorโs degree; or 2 years with masterโs or equivalent or higher degree.
Knowledge of fundraising activities and financial reporting cycle in an international context.
Previous working experience with the UN and/or exposure to work in similar contexts is considered an advantage

Strong ability to produce and analyse new change requests and issues;
Office 365, SharePoint Information Delivery Skills, or equivalent technology.

The successful candidate will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
