CONTEXTO ORGANIZACIONAL:
El Programa Mundial de Alimentos (WFP) de las Naciones Unidas es el mayor organismo humanitario de lucha contra el hambre del mundo. En Colombia, el apoyo que PMA brinda al gobierno nacional responden a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenibles (ODS) 2 y 17 haciendo uso de herramientas innovadoras tales como transferencias en dinero y compra local de alimentos a trav茅s de asociaciones de agricultores. Las actividades del PMA en Colombia se concentran en las poblaciones m谩s vulnerables, que incluye v铆ctimas de la violencia, comunidades marginadas y grupos 茅tnicos. El objetivo es reconstruir y fortalecer sus fuentes de subsistencia, asegurando que tengan adecuado acceso en todo momento a dietas nutritivas y diversas e incrementando su capacidad para recuperarse y adaptarse a los cambios clim谩ticos. Esto se hace de manera progresiva a trav茅s del desarrollo de las capacidades de autoridades locales para implementar programas responsables que contribuyan a reducir la inseguridad alimentaria y la malnutrici贸n.
En este nivel, los titulares deben dar muestras de responsabilidad y esp铆ritu de iniciativa para responder aut贸nomamente a consultas complejas disponiendo solo de orientaciones de orden general. Se requiere que hagan uso de buen criterio frente a los problemas imprevistos que puedan surgir a diario.
De acuerdo con la estrategia y el plan de trabajo de la Unidad de Investigaci贸n, Evaluaciones y Monitoreo (RAM), bajo la supervisi贸n del Oficial VAM, 茅l Asistente Senior de Datos VAM-SIG ayudar谩 a apoyar la implementaci贸n de una estrategia de sistemas de datos con el fin de ayudar a automatizar la recopilaci贸n y el intercambio de datos. Esto se centrar谩 en la visualizaci贸n, cartograf铆a, infograf铆as e informes con el fin de informar sobre la toma de decisiones, en cumplimiento de metodolog铆as corporativas.
RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES:
1. Apoyar la planificaci贸n, el dise帽o y la ejecuci贸n de las evaluaciones priorizadas por la oficina de pa铆s.
2. Desarrollar infograf铆as y actualizaciones peri贸dicas de informaci贸n dirigido a audiencias internas y externas para las visualizaciones de datos est谩ticas.
3. Apoyar la redacci贸n de informes para comunicaciones, mensajes clave y otros documentos intercambio regular de informaci贸n.
4. Apoyar la programaci贸n de encuestas en el sistema ODK collect.
5. Administrar bases de datos, limpieza de datos y an谩lisis de datos b谩sicos.
6. Apoyar las actividades de gesti贸n de datos para facilitar la creaci贸n de productos de Sistemas de Informaci贸n Geogr谩fica (SIG).
7. Apoyar con el mantenimiento de los sistemas de datos de VAM y a mejorar los v铆nculos con otras unidades y plataformas con el fin de mantener coherencia entre las distintas bases de datos del WFP.
8. Ayudar a desarrollar paneles (por ejemplo, Tableau, PowerBI), siguiendo los requisitos del usuario, para compartir datos internos clave en tiempo real, incluidos los datos de segmentaci贸n para oficinas de campo.
9. Apoyar el desarrollo de mapas basados en la web para presentar datos geogr谩ficos y operativos.
10. Liderar misiones en terreno por parte del equipo de VAM cuando requiere.
11. Desempe帽ar cualquier otra tarea dentro de su competencia profesional seg煤n sea necesario para apoyar los objetivos de proyectos.CUALIFICACIONES Y EXPERIENCIA EST脕NDAR M脥NIMAS:
Formaci贸n:
Finalizaci贸n del ciclo de educaci贸n secundaria. Deseable t铆tulo profesional en ciencias econ贸micas, administraci贸n, ingenier铆a industrial, sistemas de informaci贸n geogr谩fica o afines.
Experiencia:
Cinco (5) a帽os m铆nimo de experiencia que incluya:
- Manejo de bases de datos, limpieza de datos y an谩lisis de datos.
- Visualizaci贸n de datos y desarrollo de infograf铆as.
- Programaci贸n de encuestas y validaci贸n de la calidad de los datos.
- Dar capacitaciones tanta a nivel interno como externo sobre la recopilaci贸n de datos y las herramientas correspondientes.
- Presentar hallazgos para audiencias internos y externos.
- Recopilaci贸n de datos en el terreno.
Conocimientos:
- Manejo de paquetes estad铆sticos como SPSS, STATA, R o Phyton.
- Herramientas de visualizaci贸n de datos como ArcGIS, Tableau o PowerBI.
- Conocimientos de dise帽o gr谩fico o herramientas de comunicaci贸n visual.
- Herramientas de recopilaci贸n de datos como ODK Collect. Survey123 y XLS Form.
Idiomas:
Se requiere fluidez en espa帽ol. El conocimiento de ingl茅s es altamente deseable.
