About the Role

Support the implementation of youth engagement strategy for the Everyone A Changemaker movementSupport the team in relation to co-creation with deliverables between Ashoka and other partnersHelp delivering program to foster leadership and social innovation among youthCoordinate with team in the process of search, selection, and engagement process of Ashoka Young Changemakers in IndonesiaOrganize outreach initiatives to raise awareness about the potential of youth as changemakers and address diverse social issues in societyCollaborate to identify schools network, media, grassroot communities, government, and youth forums to promote changemaking among youthFoster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages youth to express their ideas and collaborate effectivelyMaintain program effectiveness, collect data, and report project status to evaluate outcomes and make data-driven improvementsSupport impact measurementSupport in monitoring, tracking and reporting feedback from partners. Required Skills and ExperienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa IndonesiaAble to work on own initiative, proactively and independently and under minimal supervisionLess than 1 year experience, both voluntary and paid, in program development and implementation or any works in social sectorExperience in working with diverse youth populations and understanding their needs and challenges is an advantageStrong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented and able to set clear guidelines and deadlinesComfortable managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, non-stop environmentPersonal and professional interest in different areas of Ashoka programs, zest for learning and leveraging the latest trends, channels, and toolsStrong interest in accelerating the movement building ecosystem across Indonesia.

Ashoka has a rigorous screening process for hiring staff at all career stages. All applicants for all positions must possess the following qualities along with the appropriate degree of experience:

Understanding and Belief in the Everyone a Changemaker: Understands and believes the Everyone a Changemaker vision at a gut level. To be able to innately ‘get’ this, candidates should have a broad and inquisitive intellectual and a thinking pattern that connects the dots between historical trends and current social context.

Entrepreneurship/Intrapreneurship: Compelled to take creative initiative and ownership (e.g. founding an organization or company, starting a movement, or re-shaping the work of an existing organization). Demonstrates relentless and realistic how-to-thinking and passion for seeing their ideas come to life.

Emotional and Social Intelligence: Ability to work efficiently and respectfully in teams, putting organizational/team goal first (personal glory second).

Ethical Fiber: Exceptionally strong ethical behaviour. Is self-reflective and has strong empathy skills. Trustworthy.
