Action contre la Faim (ACF) has been operating in Afghanistan since 1979. Its very first mission, has seen a strong focus on emergency responses, targeting primarily refugees, Internally Displaced Persons, and flood/drought affected populations. Integrated projects in nutrition and health, water, sanitation and hygiene, food security and livelihoods, and in mental health and care practices are implemented in 4 provinces. Our work with local partners is essential to gain access to more geographical areas.
In 2023, two-thirds of Afghanistanโs population will need urgent humanitarian assistance to survive as the countryenters its third consecutive year of drought-like conditions and the second year of crippling economic decline while still reeling from the effects of 40 years of conflict and recurrent natural disasters. The mission employs 450 staff in five operational bases : Kabul, Helmand, Ghor, Daikundi, and Badakhshan. ACF teams address the underlying conditions leading to deadly malnutrition and food insecurity and provideaccess to basic health services
ACF in Afghanistan is looking for a new Multisectorial Project Advisor based in Ghor, Badakhsan or Daikundi.

Votre poste et vos responsabilitรฉs
As a Multisectorial Project Advisor, you will be in charge of the proper implementation and completion of complex Project over several geographical locations throughout all its different phases as well as the appropriate management of its specific scope, schedule, resources, quality, risks, representation, coordination and contractual requirements. You will also coordinate all program managers under your leadership on program reportingโs, coordinate with other partners in the locations of intervention. Finally, you will be responsible of the context evolution monitoring and reporting to help the different projects adopt to the evolving context.
Your missions will be to:
Ensure efficient, effective, quality and timely implementation of the entire projects under his/her supervisionManage and develop the project teamAssist in wider organizational development through learning and proposalManage external relations related to the projectProject data management and reportingManage and support to local implementing partner(s)
Votre profil
You have a degree in social sciences.
You have at least 4 years of field experience in program management, coordination, and mutlisector project cycle management, in humanitarian INGO. Ideally, you have worked in a volatile security environment.
You have a demonstrated experience in financial management, preparation of budgets for programming and working with local implementing partnership.
You have excellent management (medium to large-sized teams), organizational, motivational and leadership skills.
You are familiar with GFFO, ECHO, EU, BMZ, FCDO and/or UN-Funds reporting and regulations.
Excellent written and spoken English are required.
In addition, you have a good knowledge of the humanitarian architecture and transformative agenda.
